Queer Melbourne’s single largest event, Carnival, is once again opening the Midsumma Festival, and GALTA will be there!
In 2011, Carnival moves to it’s new location, Birrarung Marr, on the banks of the Yarra River, playing home to this exuberating day of celebration, and it’s the showcase of all the queer culture that’s to come over the following 3 weeks of Midsumma!
GALTA will be occupying Stand D8 on the Lower Terrace, handing out our fabulous pink showbags filled with GALTA Member brochures and answering questions and providing tourism advice to prospective travellers.
Visitors to the GALTA Stand will also have the opportunity to win an accommodation prize courtesy of Turtle Cove Resort just for signing up to the GALTA and Turtle Cove’s Newsletters.
