Tourism Whitsundays (TW) is the Regional Tourism Organisation for the area incorporating Airlie Beach, Bowen and the 74 Island Wonders of the Whitsunday group.
We are the region’s peak tourism industry body, facilitating partnerships, promoting sustainable tourism development and marketing this wonderful ‘Great Barrier Reef’ destination across Australia and around the world.
We operate the accredited Visitor Information Centre on the Bruce Highway in Proserpine – an excellent source of information about places to stay and things to see and do in the Whitsundays. They can also take care of all the bookings for you and help you work out the logistics of travelling to and from the islands and the Whitsunday Coast.
The Whitsundays boasts accommodation choices ranging from quiet B&Bs, traditional tallships or luxury catamarans to 5 star luxury resorts and everything in between, as well as the natural beauty of the 74 Island Wonders, spectacular Whitehaven Beach and of course the Great Barrier Reef, the Whitsundays is waiting for you to come and explore.
