Noosa Mardi Gras Recovery Week

For the last 5 years Rod Stringer from Horizons at Peregian has organised the Noosa Mardi Gras Recovery Week, and  this year he is pleased to announce that it is on again.  With the support of Tourism Noosa and The Gay and Lesbian Tourism Association, Rod would like to invite every one along to this years’ program.

The Noosa Mardi Gras Recovery Week follows on from the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Parade and Party in Sydney on Saturday 5 March. Our five day event kicks off with the traditional Welcome Cocktail party on the Boathouse floating Restaurant on the Noosa River from 5pm on Monday 7 March.

Other events include; a sunset cruise on the Noosa River Queens and a gala dinner at Trios Restaurant, Fashion parade by High Tide Resort Wear from Peregian Beach all the latest new season European men’s swimwear. Noosa Marina, a cruise for the girls, an afternoon BBQ at Horizons at Peregian and a farewell breakfast at the stunning Homestay at Noosa.

Hideaway Men’s Resort is host to the Mardi Gras recovery Pool party on Wednesday 9 March and includes the Sunshine Coast heats of the Big Gay Day/Qnews search for Mr Q 2011 competition.

“The program is all inclusive, and we have events running throughout the Tewntin, Noosaville, Sunshine Beach and Peregian Beach areas. Local businesses will have the opportunity to promote their products and services.” says Rod Stringer.
