The annual Frosty Fruits Ski Trip presented by Points of Difference Events, returns to the fabulous Hotham Alpine Resort, again offering its guests the best on-snow experience in Australia.
The event now in its 3rd year, dubbed Australia’s Gay and Lesbian Short Ski Week, offers complete all- inclusive packages to make vacationing easy and enjoyable. It is also the only Fly-in and Ski-out gay and lesbian ski and snowboard experience on offer this season in Australia or New Zealand.
Running August 18th to 21st, this gay long weekend in the snow is ideal for the busy executive or dead‐keen skier. Flights are just a quick 80 minutes from Sydney direct to Hotham Airport and an even quicker 45 minutes from Melbourne.
The format of the event allows as much on snow time as possible. One of the advantages of being right on top of the mountain is that there is no unnecessary travelling each day. You can be out the door and on to the snow in minutes.
Whilst the event is geared toward serious skiers and boarders, there are plenty of social activities and a program of non‐skier events as well. Through the Watchman package guests can experience snow shoe tours, dog sledding (with the cutest bitches around!), a scenic helicopter ride and a gorgeous sunset champagne tour.
Evenings kick off at sunset with Après as the lifts close. Each night has a special hosted event, including the Welcome Cocktail Party, hosted by Hotham Alpine Resort in the stunning White Room Restaurant. Our final night celebration, a Disco Snowball – with special guest DJ will be held at The General Store – the entertainment hot-spot on the mountain. Be prepared to get steamy!
A range of packages are available, starting from around $381 per day if you have your own transport & gear, includes stylish on‐mountain accommodation, registration, welcome lunch & cocktail party, final night party and a FFST group orientation of the mountain.
